Fan account of Kim Bum’s fanmeeting in Thailand

here’s a run through of the events at Kim Bum’s fanmeeting, seen through the eyes of MonKom. Thanks to Anna again for translating!

Yesterday, Kim Bum was so cute. Let me share a little of my experiences.

In front of the fan meeting, there was nothing being sold. There were only sponsor booths.

At the beginning, Bummie sang “I’m Going to Meet Her Now”, with pauses for us to sing along. It wasn’t loud enough though, so he sang the lyrics himself. Hehe. As for me, I practiced the 2 songs he didn’t sing, but if he comes again, I’ll make sure to be able to sing this song.

Once the song ended, the MC and translator came on stage for a chat. It was a lot of fun. After that, I can’t really remember the sequence of events, since I was fixated on Bummie’s face.

They showed some pictures of Bummie from his childhood. He was so embarrassed by one of him really baggy pants and glasses, taken when he was about 5 years old, probably.

Let me just praise the choice of MC for a moment. Very funny and managed to get Bummie to make a sulky face, which was soooooo cute.

There were questions to play an O or X (true or false) game with the band. It was the band that played with Bummie in his drama. They all seemed very close.

We played the “True or False” game with Bummie. Can’t really remember all the questions, but they asked:

Bummie was born on July 7^th – true or false?
Blood type O – true or false?
Likes to eat chicken – true or false?
Can only drink one bottle of soju – true or false?
Likes to travel to the sea more than the mountains – true or false?
Likes sexy women – true or false?
Likes origano coffee and something else I can’t remember. Something along these lines.

Then we sang “Happy Birthday” to Bummie in English twice. I was kind of jealous of the MC, since Bummie smeared some cake on her and she refused to wipe it off.

In front of the fan meeting, there was a board for us to write questions to ask Bummie. The askers of the selected questions were invited up to take photos with Bummie and get his autograph. They also got to shake hands with him and hug him, too. Awesooooooommmme. The unni who sat next to me got to go up. So happy for her!

The last game was organized by Bummie himself. He called out a list of characteristics, starting from “has shoulder-length hair” and progressing onto “does not wear glasses”, “is wearing a necklace”, “is wearing shoes that cover their whole foot”, “is wearing a skirt”, “is wearing a headband”, “brown hair” and “is wearing a shirt with something black” on it. This was super-fun. He called out the traits himself, taking time to think of each one. The winner was awarded the bracelet he himself was wearing. He took it off and put it on the winner himself.

The fan meeting ended with Bummie singing “Bad Case of Loving You”. So cool.

The most memorable moment was everyone playing the game with Bummie. Some people got to hold his hand, hug him, and pose for photos with him. Hehe. Even though I didn’t get a chance to do any of that, I still thought it was awesome of him.

Bummed out that I didn’t get an autograph or a chance to shake his hand. I was 1 of the 100 chosen, but I didn’t make it on time. So regretful! Hehe. I did get a great seat in front though. No media blocking me at all. Only 2 meters away from Bummie. Grinned all the way home.

Apparently some people are taking Kim Bum out for sukiyaki today. We’ll keep you posted ^.^
