Big Bang, Yunho & Kimbum in drama web ‘Haru, A One Day Story’ menampilkan

From 2PM’s recent campaign song Boom Boom Boom, to this upcoming drama Haru, it looks like all of Korea’s stars are participating in promoting the year of visiting Korea. Hallyu stars Yunho, Kim Bum, Big Bang, Han Chae Young, Park Shi Hoo, and Lee Da Hae have gathered for the Omnibus drama Haru (Day) produced by the Korean National Tourism Organization.

This drama has been produced in honor of 2010 being the year of visiting Korea. The meeting between the drama’s all-star cast and staff has drawn much attention to the drama. In Haru, Yunho is an action star in a play, Kim Bum is a photographer, Lee Da Hae is a screenwriter, Han Chae Young and Park Shi Hoo play the couple in Lee Da Hae’s scenario, and Big Bang is a group that finds a school that is being shut down, and holds a mini-concert for th students.

The first round of filming has taken place at Busan Station, GwangAn Bridge, Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Haerang Train, and Hangang. This drama will portray Korea’s beauty through it’s new convention, beautiful cinematography, and captivating soundtrack.

There is no doubt that this special drama is going to be a hit in Asia.

Yunho has already entered the Asian market through his activities with TVXQ, Kim Bum has attained Hallyu stardom through Boys Over Flowers, Big Bang has been sensational with their album releases in Japan, Han Chae Young has been getting ready for her Hollywood debut, and Lee Da Hae played the heroine of popular drama Chuno.

BOF Alumni Event In Tokyo

On the 21st of August at Tokyo International Forum, the Korean version of "Boys over Flowers" Alumni Event was held. Casts Goo Hye Sun, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Jun and Kim Bum attended. Lee MinHo had some personal schedule so he couldn't participate. On the official site of "Boys over Flowers", comments and videos were left respectively after the casts were decided for attendance.

There was a "Boys over Flowers - Graduation Event" in April where many fans came together with the casts to express separation. In just 4 months, this alumni event was decided for hold, looking back, this event seemed to be the common place where fans are waiting for to come together again for reunion. A total of 14,000 and counting fans were present at these 4 sessions held respectively at Osaka and Tokyo with 2 showtimes per day.

Navicon has captured footage of the noontime session and will deliver more through "Want to know more about Korean dramas!" -- "Event Report Corner". So keep anticipating.

On this day's event, the front part was talks and games. The latter part was music show. In the front part of games corner, Kim Jun posed the "how many times did you kiss" question towards Kim Bum. He wasn't able to answer, so he drank Noni Juice. Though both of them drank to Noni Juice because of tough and naughty questions,

Kim Hyun Joong didn't. When asked how many times he's been in a relationship (how many times he's loved), he answered honestly with a handsign of 'FIVE' (5), laughing to a marvelous number with that,which caused a little stir amongst crowd that day.

During the singing part, Goo Hyesun sung her self-composed song "Brown colored hair", T-max where Kim Jun is part of appeared on stage and sung to their songs.

Kim Bum and miss A for EDWIN

Last month, we reported that Kim Bum and miss A would be teaming up to become EDWIN’s new models. Recently, their fall fashion pictorial was revealed.
On July 28th, casual brand EDWIN completed their 10 F/W season photoshoot. For this season the young and fresh miss A joined the dandy and modern Kim Bum to show various styles for many different lifestyles.

Kim Bum wore items that are expected to be trends this fall, from checkered shirts to leather jackets. For each outfit, he displayed unique poses and expressions that led the shoot.
On the other hand, miss A completed their first Korean commercial and showed a different appeal through EDWIN’s casual outfits.

miss A said,

“We were nervous because it was our first Korean CF shoot, however we were able to complete the shoot in a happy atmosphere. Expect to see a new image of miss A through the pictorial.”

The full commercial shoot will be revealed in early September.

Andre Kim (75), one of Korea’s most famous fashion designers and iconic figures, passed away on August 12th at 7PM.

Andre Kim, whose real name is Kim Bong Nam, had been in poor health lately, and was hospitalized late last month for health reasons. He had been receiving treatment in the ICU at the Seoul National University Hospital for colorectral cancer and serious pneumonia before succumbing to his illness.

Kim’s roots in fashion date back to 1962, when he entered the industry in Seoul and held a fashion show in Paris only a few years later. Since then, Kim had held a multitude of fashion shows and served a long list of clients, even designing the official uniforms for Korea for a number of Olympics in the past. With celebrity models including Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, f(x)’s Sulli, SHINee’s Minho, actor Kim Joon (Song Woo Bin) and more, Kim was especially known for his elaborate evening and wedding gown collections.

We hope that he rests in peace.

Play with Kim Bum!

On the iPhone/iPod game “We Rule” that is. Kim Bum recently tweeted:

Let’s play We Rule on the iPhone! My gamername is ‘notmind’. http://bit.ly/d4seUk

I believe it’s just an automated tweet from the application. The game greatly resembles FarmVille, and you can play with your friends. I’m not going to lie, I downloaded the game on my iPod just now and added Kim Bum as a friend. LOL.

Nevermind, it seems like he deleted the tweet. Although his “We Rule” account is still there. You have to log into your twitter account in order to tweet that message, so unless someone got ahold of his username/password or he was playing on someone else’s iPad, it would have to be Kim Bum.

Apparently he plays it for the iPad, and his alias is Ji Sangeun. Either that or he’s playing on someone else’s account and updated his own twitter, or vise versa? Buuut… Sang Bum + So Eun = Sangeun? tehehe
